Synagogue Attack in West Bloomfield, Michigan Leaves Suspect Dead

A shooting incident at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, Michigan, on Thursday, March 12, 2026, resulted in the death of the suspect after ramming a vehicle into the building and being confronted by synagogue security. Authorities responded to reports of an “active shooter” at Temple Israel around 12:30 pm local time.
