Dongeui University Team Wins National Hospital Management Competition

The ‘HI-Miner 3.0’ team from Dongeui University just took home a major award. They won first place at the ‘2025 Korean Hospital Management Association Fall Conference.’ It’s a huge accomplishment!

Five undergraduate students in the Department of Medical Management make up the winning team. They are Eunji Choi,Hoyeon Song,Soomin Son,Heejin lim,and Yumi jeong. they competed against many other talented groups. Dongeui University’s team earned the President’s Award from the Korean Society of Hospital Management.

The competition, the ’12th Young Leaders’ Case Competition,’ was held on October 24th at Yonsei university’s Graduate School of Public Health. It wasn’t easy. The challenge? Too find ways to redesign hospital management using Artificial Intelligence (AI). That’s a complex topic!

The team focused on improving hospital efficiency with AI. They didn’t just talk about it; they presented a practical, well-thought-out solution.It’s clear their hard work paid off. They really impressed the judges with their innovative ideas.

This win highlights Dongeui University’s strong medical management program. it also shows the students’ dedication and ability to tackle real-world healthcare challenges. We can’t wait to see what they do next!
