Diablo II: Resurrected has come as a surprise to fans of the action role-playing game (ARPG) with the announcement of content in the form of the Reign of the Warlock paid pack. Developers from the Blizzard Entertainment studio have prepared an expansion with a brand new playable warlock character for the thirtieth anniversary of the popular brand set in a dark fantasy world where people are victims of an endless war between Hell and Heaven.
The warlock, capable of summoning and controlling three different types of demons, appears for the first time in the history of the series. He uses monsters to fight and significantly strengthen his abilities. At the same time, he can combine casting spells with close combat. Through weapons, he can manipulate the minds of enemies, drain them of life, paralyze them, or cause an explosion.
“The Warlock’s death gear levitates, allowing him to equip a two-handed weapon while keeping his other hand free for casting spells,” they described unique ability of creators.

The hybrid character is thus suitable for players who plan ahead and think about the course of the fights. It is also ideal for experimenting with so-called builds – specializing in certain abilities.
The Reign of the Warlock expansion to Diablo II: Resurrected itself is already available for PC and previous and current console generations PlayStation, Xbox a Nintendo Switch for approximately 620 crowns. People who don’t own the original game can buy the so-called Infernal edition for about a thousand crowns. It is also possible to play within the Game Pass subscription service.

The playable character of the warlock will also enrich other current parts of the series this year. It will first be available in April alongside the release of the new Lord of Hatred expansion for Diablo IV.
In the latest sequel, players will be offered two new game characters. In addition to the warlock, you can also play as a cumbersome paladin relying on armor, a shield and weapons for close combat. Also uses celestial light abilities.
Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred is coming out on April 28th for PC as well as previous and current PlayStation and Xbox consoles. The basic edition starts at a thousand crowns. Higher versions up to 2249 crowns are also available. People who pre-order the title can play as the paladin now.
