Costmar Returns to Södertälje on Loan
DIF center Arvid Costmar will play for SSK tonight.
Niklas Wikegård of Hockeynews confirms this.
Though, SSK’s Emil Georgsson says reports of a possible permanent deal for Costmar are not true.
Costmar missed Djurgården’s practice on Friday. Expressen reported that Södertälje wants to sign him to a permanent contract, and that Costmar is interested.
For now, Costmar will be loaned to Södertälje for one more game – he will play against almtuna tonight.
“He really wants to play,” says Djurgården’s sporting manager, niklas Wikegård. “He didn’t get to play yesterday and immediately said he had a great time in Södertälje and wants to play a game. Emil and the people at Södertälje are happy to have him, so it’s all positive.”
“He’s obviously not happy about not playing with twelve forwards here, but it’s also harder to earn a spot if you aren’t playing. He plays today and than will compete for a spot tomorrow against Färjestad,” Wikegård added.
Earlier, SSK’s sporting director Emil Georgsson told Länstidningen that they had a verbal agreement with a center, pending permission from his current club.
