Des Moines Area Realtors donate $50,000 to Food Bank of Iowa to combat Rising Food Insecurity
The Des Moines Area Association of Realtors (DMAAR) has demonstrated a meaningful commitment to community support by donating $50,000 to the Food Bank of Iowa. This substantial contribution aims to address the escalating issue of food insecurity across the state, notably in Central Iowa, where demand for food assistance is currently at record levels.
This donation will directly facilitate the distribution of thousands of meals and bolster the Food Bank of Iowa’s outreach programs, providing crucial support to individuals and families facing hardship.
