Djay-Lynn, Stranded Dolphin, Dies in Dutch Sanctuary

A dolphin named Djay-Lynn, who was found stranded near Wierum, Friesland, in the Netherlands, has died while under the care of SOS Dolfijn. The animal had been receiving 24-hour support but succumbed to her condition after experiencing severe cramps and difficulty breathing.

Stranding and Initial Care
