Miklagard Studios Announces Double Dealers, a Social Deduction Game of Bluff and Manipulation
ISTANBUL, TURKEY – March 25, 2026 – Miklagard Studios, an independent game development studio based in Istanbul, Turkey, today announced Double Dealers, a multiplayer party game focused on deception and strategic trading. The game is now available to wishlist on Steam.
Gameplay and Features
Double Dealers pits 3–6 players against each other in a battle of wits, where players take turns as Sellers, attempting to sell mystery items to other players acting as Buyers. Sellers are aware of both the item’s market value and any hidden “Clauses” attached to it, while Buyers remain unaware. Success hinges on the Seller’s ability to bluff and persuade, or the Buyers’ skill in detecting a scam before finalizing the transaction. Watch the Announcement Trailer.
The game’s core mechanic revolves around a unique Clause System. Items are assigned randomized hidden effects, ranging from beneficial “Golden Clauses” (like a 10% bonus for the seller) to detrimental “Cursed Clauses” (potentially forcing the buyer to discard valuable cards). Beyond individual trades, players can engage in a Market Phase, collecting items from the same “Era” to trigger set bonuses or immediately flipping items for profit.

- Voice-Chat Driven Deception: Real-time voice communication is central to the gameplay, allowing players to persuade, lie, and manipulate their opponents during auctions.
- The Clause System: Randomized hidden conditions on items ensure high replayability and unpredictable outcomes.
- Deep Trading Strategy: Players can invest in collecting items from the same “Era” to unlock set bonuses or quickly sell items in the Market Phase.
- Tactical Card Play: Profits can be spent on Ability Cards to gain advantages such as peeking at hidden prices, sabotaging rivals, or boosting long-term earnings.
- Global Accessibility: The game will launch with full localization for 10 languages, including English, Chinese, Russian, and Japanese.
