“Higashino Yamasato’s Input” is a program in which Higashino, who has many regular programs and is also the director of BS Yoshimoto’s advertising department, and the popular Yamasato, who is in charge of the MC of the morning information program “DayDay.”, “input” popular content and unknown interesting entertainment works from young people.
This is the first recording in 2026. Looking back, Higashino says, “I suddenly remembered something” during the New Year holidays when he was overseas. Last year, he and Hachimitsu Jiro (Tokyo Dynamite) and Yamasato had promised to go see professional wrestler Hiroshi Tanahashi‘s retirement match on January 4th on the program, but he says he had completely forgotten about it.
Higashino apparently apologized through his partner, Daisuke Matsuda, and said with a grin, “If there is a God, I think (because I remembered and apologized) he would be like, “Well, that’s okay.” On the other hand, Yamasato had forgotten about it until Higashino told him to do so, and said with a wry smile, “You did it!” The two reflected on themselves and wondered, “What does this broken promise mean to us as people?”
Ramen comedian Menma Kitagawa appears for the third time
The theme of “#58” is ramen, which has become a tradition. We have invited Menma Kitagawa, who will appear on the program for the third time, to input information on popular restaurants.

Kitagawa’s “Annual Oshimen Award”, which Higashino and Yamasato are looking forward to, will also be announced. Kitagawa is not a ramen shop, but rather introduces ramen shops that are run by owners who trained at famous curry restaurants, shops that serve recipes that appeared in his dreams, and other ramen shops that will make you salivate just by listening to their stories. In addition, we have expanded our range not only to the Kanto region but also to all over the country, picking up famous stores in Osaka and Niigata. Higashino and Yamazato deeply agree with Kitagawa’s words, “The fun of eating around the region is that you can enjoy it deeply by learning about the origins of local ramen.”
