The coaches of JC Limoux, Hervé and Océane, officially presented the black belt and the club trophy to Maxence Mérou.
After starting out on the tatami mats in Carcassonne, Maxence joined JC Limoux, where he quickly integrated, seduced by the friendly atmosphere and the encouragement of his comrades. Year after year, he demonstrated exemplary regularity in training and continued his progress seriously, notably thanks to his favorite waza swimming techniques such as Sode-Tsurikomi-Goshi and Hane-goshi.
Voluntary and jovial, Maxence, 17, was able to combine studies and judo at the rate of two training sessions per week. After diligent preparation, he validated his katas in May 2025, then the technical UV on November 8 of the same year. The next day, his participation in the shiai allowed him to put together the last points he was missing.
It is therefore with great emotion that this black belt crowns years of learning and perseverance on the Limoux carpets.
