Drogheda Rapper Awaiting Sentencing Releases Second Track From Custody

A convicted criminal from Drogheda, awaiting sentencing for organized crime offenses, has released a second rap track, accompanied by a message asserting he remains undeterred by his impending jail time. Dean Thornton, 28, who performs as ‘Dean Thornton RSK,’ pleaded guilty to charges including facilitating the Boylan Organized Crime Group and money laundering.

The latest track, titled “Back2Back” featuring artist BK Humble, has been circulating online, according to reports from March 6, 2026 Irish Mirror. A video accompanying the release includes footage of Thornton being led from Dundalk Courthouse.

Thornton admitted to the charges at Dundalk Circuit Court, specifically under Section 72 of the Criminal Justice Act, which criminalizes assisting an organized crime group in facilitating serious crime. The Irish Mirror reports that the Boylan brothers, Keith and Josh Boylan, allegedly lead the group and are currently evading authorities in Dubai and Thailand.

This is Thornton’s second musical release since being remanded in custody. His previous video, “Real Street Kids” released in 2024, featured references to a firearm and the Drogheda feud that began in 2018 Irish Mirror.

The Irish Prison Service declined to comment on Thornton’s latest release, stating they do not comment on individual prisoner cases Irish Mirror.

Thornton was previously sentenced to three years in prison in 2019 for his involvement in the abduction of Aaron Rochford in 2018 and was released in 2022 Irish Mirror.

He is scheduled to be sentenced in May 2026.
