The first teaser for Dune (2021) arrived over a year before its release, while the trailer for Dune: Part Two (2024) debuted ten months prior to its premiere. Release delays related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Hollywood strikes influenced the timing of those earlier trailers.

Production Updates

Principal photography for Dune: Part Three began in July 2025 and wrapped in November 2025, with filming locations including Budapest and Abu Dhabi. The film boasts a star-studded cast, with Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Florence Pugh, and Anya Taylor-Joy reprising their roles. Jason Momoa as well returns, and Robert Pattinson joins the ensemble. Hans Zimmer is once again composing the film’s score.
