Dutch neoclassical pop duo HAEVN will bring their upcoming European tour to Riga’s Palladium concert hall on October 8, 2027, as announced by event organizers and reported by Delfi. The concert marks the group’s return to Latvia following a decade of international growth, during which they have accumulated more than a million monthly listeners across global streaming platforms.
Founded in Amsterdam Through Automotive Campaigns
Singer-songwriter Marijn van der Meer and film composer Jorrit Kleijnen established HAEVN in Amsterdam in 2015, combining contemporary pop structures with classical instrumentation, according to Palladium. The duo secured early international recognition when their tracks “Where the Heart Is” and “Finding Out More” were featured in advertising campaigns for automotive brands Volvo and BMW. These placements propelled the band’s music up Shazam charts across multiple European countries, establishing a footprint outside the Netherlands.
Developed Signature Sound with Production Collaborations
The group’s signature sound relies on van der Meer’s warm vocals layered over Kleijnen’s piano arrangements, string sections, and electronic textures, as noted by Delfi. Throughout their catalog development—which includes tracks such as “Back in the Water,” “Fortitude,” and “The Sea”—the duo collaborated with British producer Tim Bran, who previously worked with London Grammar and Birdy. This production approach helped the band sell out prominent European venues like Le Trianon in Paris, O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London, and AFAS Live in Amsterdam.

The Anima Tour Concept
The upcoming “Anima” tour draws its name from the Latin word for soul, reflecting the group’s intent to scale back from automated digital production methods and prioritize human connection, concert organizers stated in coverage by NRA. Unlike standard touring formats that present fully finished albums, the “Anima” itinerary will feature unreleased material and work-in-progress compositions that evolve throughout the course of the tour in direct interaction with audiences.
