Psoriatic disease is closely linked to higher rates of depression and anxiety. Yet, meeting the mental health needs of people with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) continues to be tough. Even with better treatments for psoriatic conditions, people with PsA experience mental health issues more often than the general population.
Lifestyle factors like sleep, exercise, stress management, and nutrition are known to effect mental health. However, programs designed to help people improve these areas haven’t traditionally been created specifically for those with psoriatic disease.
To fill this need, Cleveland Clinic created Immune Strength, a lifestyle e-coaching program designed for this patient group. This program helps users take control of their health through personalized guidance and support.
