## Vietnam Celebrates 43rd Teachers’ Day and 8th Patriotic Emulation Competition
As part of a series of emulation activities commemorating significant national holidays and events, and marking the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the National Ministry of Education (now the ministry of Education and Training), the Ministry of Education and Training held the 43rd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers’ Day and the 8th Patriotic Emulation Competition today (November 17) at Hanoi National University of Education. The university is a leading national education institution, having trained tens of thousands of teachers and education experts and making vital contributions to the nation’s education system.
The festival celebrates all within the education sector: teachers directly involved in instruction, educational managers, and those who support and care for learners in educational institutions.
Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son, also Chairman of the Competition and Compensation Committee of the ministry of Education and Training, extended his respects on behalf of the Ministry’s leadership to President Luong Cuong, Party and national leaders, central ministries and ministry leaders, distinguished guests, and all teachers and students in attendance, as well as the entire education community.
The Minister also congratulated the over 300 outstanding delegates – typical advanced models elected at conferences at all levels, and typical advanced groups and individuals participating in the patriotic competitive movement – particularly those involved in the “Innovation and Creativity in Management, Teaching and learning” competition from 2020-2025.
