Einstein Bros. Bagels Offers Free Ice Coffee to Job Seekers Amid TikTok Debate
Einstein Bros. Bagels is launching a free ice coffee promotion in Los Angeles to support local job seekers navigating interview etiquette. Customers preparing for a job interview who purchase another menu item can receive a free iced coffee in any size or flavor, including the limited-edition creme brulee iced coffee. The offer is limited to one per person per day for in-store purchases only.
TikTok Debate Sparks Coffee Promotion
The giveaway stems from a recent viral debate on TikTok regarding whether job candidates should bring beverages into interviews. Several online videos targeted Gen Z job seekers, suggesting that carrying an iced coffee into an interview room projects a lack of professionalism. The posts triggered a widespread online discussion across social media platforms. While some users agreed that holding a drink appears unprofessional, others argued that beverage choices have no bearing on a candidate’s actual qualifications or preparation. In response, Einstein Bros. Bagels released a statement supporting job seekers who bring iced coffee to interviews and introduced the regional promotion to back them up.
