The assembly brought together chief executives from Bagaladi, Bova, Bova Marina, Brancaleone, Bruzzano Zeffirio, Cardeto, Condofuri, Ferruzzano, Melito di Porto Salvo, Montebello Jonico, Motta San Giovanni, Roccaforte del Greco, Roghudi, and San Lorenzo.

Nucera Targets Depopulation and Economic Fragility
In his acceptance remarks, Nucera laid out his agenda. He stressed that his tenure will prioritize tackling the region’s severe economic vulnerabilities and ongoing depopulation while leveraging its distinct assets.
"My commitment will be entirely dedicated to continuous attention and the relaunch of a territory rich in history, culture, and beauty, but which also presents important economic fragilities and phenomena of progressive depopulation," Nucera declared, according to the official press release. He thanked his mayoral colleagues for their backing, stressing that collaborative action remains essential for unlocking new growth opportunities.
Cross-Party Support Emerges From Local Opposition
The appointment drew rare cross-party backing. In Roccaforte del Greco, municipal minority leader Paolo Ferrara praised the outcome, arguing that the community’s interests supersede political division.
"Being adversaries in the last municipal elections does not stop me, indeed it requires me even more, to recognize the institutional value of this result," Ferrara stated, as reported by StrettoWeb. Ferrara heads the "Liberi di Ricominciare" council group and noted that the local administration and opposition have maintained a collaborative working relationship aimed at advancing initial developmental projects for the village.
