ELCY Makes Major Retail Debut at Hyundai Apgujeong
Korean contemporary womenswear brand ELCY has officially opened its first major department store pop-up. Running from August 14 through August 27, 2026, the retail event occupies the Hyundai Department Store Apgujeong Main Branch.
Showcasing the ‘A Quiet Summer’ 26SS Lineup
The two-week engagement marks the label’s debut direct offline encounter with consumers. Shoppers walking the sales floor can examine and try on the 2026 spring-summer collection, titled “A Quiet Summer.”
Exclusive Pieces Reserved for Physical Shoppers
Alongside the main collection, the brand rolled out an assortment designated as the “Offline Exclusive” line. Brand representatives confirmed that several pieces featured at the venue are kept entirely out of online distribution channels, offering physical visitors unique access.
Restrained Silhouettes and Minimalist Design Philosophy
The label specializes in minimal womenswear defined by restrained silhouettes and subtle details. The garments are crafted to resist shifting seasonal trends while prioritizing comfort above all else.
Immersive Visitor Programs and Future Offline Expansion
Beyond standard merchandise displays and sales, the pop-up features visitor participation programs, gift distributions, and promotional discounts.
“This pop-up store goes beyond simply selling products,” an ELCY representative stated regarding the retail strategy. “We designed the space so visitors can directly experience the philosophy and sensibility of the brand, and we plan to expand our opportunities to connect with customers offline.”
