ETSU Cheer and Dance Teams prepare for National Championship

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The East Tennessee State University (ETSU) cheer and dance teams are preparing to compete at the 2026 UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team national Championship. The teams will showcase their athleticism and artistry in a variety of divisions.

The ETSU dance team will participate in four categories: game day, jazz, hip-hop, and poms. These routines demand versatility and precision, highlighting the dancers’ skills in diffrent styles.The cheerleading squad will compete in both game-day and conventional routines, demonstrating their spirit, stunting abilities, and overall performance quality.
