FIU Beach Volleyball Hosts Palm Beach State and Palm Beach Atlantic in Tri-Meet
MIAMI – FIU beach volleyball welcomes Palm Beach State and Palm Beach Atlantic to the FIU Beach Volleyball Courts on the Modesto A. Maidique Campus for a tri-meet on Saturday, February 28. The Panthers will compete at 9 a.m. Against Palm Beach State and again at 1 p.m. Against Palm Beach Atlantic.

- Palm Beach State: 9 a.m.
- Palm Beach Atlantic: 1 p.m.
Panthers Coming Off Boca Beach Bash
FIU is coming off a 2-2 performance at the Boca Beach Bash, where they defeated Palm Beach Atlantic and Coastal Carolina. Kendra Brown and Isabella Pereira led the Panthers, posting a perfect 4-0 record on court three, including a victory over then-ranked No. 15 Florida Atlantic.
Matchup: FIU vs. Palm Beach State
This will be the first of two matchups this season between FIU and Palm Beach State. Palm Beach State enters the tri-meet with a 6-1 record, including a 2-0 record against Sun-Lakes Conference teams. FIU will be the first Division I opponent for Palm Beach State, who also has matches scheduled against Nebraska, TCU, FGCU, USC, Sam Houston and Jacksonville.
Matchup: FIU vs. Palm Beach Atlantic
FIU defeated Palm Beach Atlantic 4-1 at the Boca Beach Bash earlier in the season. Palm Beach Atlantic currently holds a 4-4 record, with all four losses coming against Division I competition. The Sailfish were semifinalists at the AVCA Compact College Championships last season, finishing third in the country. FIU is undefeated against Palm Beach Atlantic in nine all-time meetings.
