Flying Tiger Copenhagen Issues Recalls for Children’s Tea Set and Drinking Glass
Flying Tiger Copenhagen is voluntarily recalling two products – a children’s tea set and a drinking glass – due to potential safety hazards. The recalls, initially announced in January 2026, address concerns about choking hazards and the presence of elevated levels of lead and cadmium.
Children’s Tea Set Recall – Choking Hazard
The “Tea Set Metal” for children has been identified as posing a choking hazard. According to the Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (FSVO), small parts can detach from the set, presenting a risk to young children. Consumers are advised to immediately discontinue use of the tea set and return it to a Flying Tiger Copenhagen store for a full refund.
Drinking Glass Recall – Lead and Cadmium Levels
Testing of the “Single Flowers mixed colors: 220 ml” drinking glass revealed elevated levels of lead and cadmium. The FSVO recommends against continued use of the glass due to potential health risks associated with these substances. Consumers who purchased the glass are instructed to return it to a Flying Tiger Copenhagen store for a full refund.
Consumer Action and Refund Information
Flying Tiger Copenhagen is actively removing both products from its stores. Consumers who have purchased either the tea set or the drinking glass are urged to return them to the nearest Flying Tiger Copenhagen branch to receive a full refund of the purchase price.
