15-Year Prison Sentance Sought for Former South Korean first Lady

Jakarta – Former First Lady of South korea, Kim Keon Hee, faces a 15-year prison sentence.

According to a report by detikcom on Thursday, December 4, 2025, South Korean prosecutors believe Kim Keon Hee is guilty of alleged stock fraud and corruption.

Kim, the wife of former president Yoon Suk Yeol, was arrested in August and is under inquiry for an alleged stock manipulation scheme, as well as accepting gifts from the Unification Church, a religious organization widely considered a cult.
