Elevating the In-store Sephora Experience: A Focus on Services & Retail Marketing Assets

I. Defining & Integrating Services

To make services a singular and impactful element of the Sephora in-store experience, we must first define the right assets and implement a 360-degree approach.This involves:

* Asset Identification: Determining the specific tools, training, and physical spaces needed to deliver exceptional service experiences (e.g., enhanced Beauty Hubs, personalized consultation areas, digital diagnostic tools).
* 360° Integration: Ensuring services are seamlessly woven into the entire customer journey – from initial engagement to post-purchase follow-up. This includes training Beauty Advisors to proactively offer services, promoting services through in-store signage and digital displays, and leveraging data to personalize service recommendations.
* Impactful Execution: focusing on creating memorable and shareable service moments that differentiate Sephora from competitors and build brand loyalty.

II. Animation Retroplanning & Logistics

accomplished in-store animations require meticulous planning and execution. This includes:

* Comprehensive Retroplanning: Defining a detailed timeline from start to finish for each animation, outlining all key milestones and deliverables.
* Proactive Anticipation: Identifying potential logistical challenges (e.g., transportation, installation, staffing) well in advance and developing contingency plans.
* Lasting Transport: Prioritizing efficient and environmentally responsible transportation solutions for all animation assets.
* Monitoring & Adjustment: Continuously tracking progress against the retroplan and making adjustments as needed to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

III. Developing Retail Marketing Assets

The creation of compelling retail marketing assets is crucial for bringing animations and service offerings to life. This encompasses:

* Detailed Briefing: Providing scenography and accessory designers with comprehensive briefs for all assets (e.g., Edge Displays, podiums, Beauty Hub takeovers, front-of-store tables, Sephora Loves displays).These briefs should emphasize maximum impact, singularity, and an entertaining client experience.
* Creative Inspiration: Nurturing designer creativity by sharing competitive benchmarks, current retail trends, and inspiring visual references.
* Strategic Sourcing: Leading calls for tenders with purchasing teams, ensuring a rigorous challenge on both price and quality.
* Quality Control: Implementing robust quality control processes throughout the asset development and production phases.

The Retail Marketing Europe team is responsible for developing and executing retail support materials for Sephora’s in-store activations, and also permanent assets (supplies, signage, etc.). The team focuses on elevating the brand’s uniqueness and improving the in-store customer experience.

Retail Marketing Asset Development & Animation Management

This outlines the key responsibilities for developing retail marketing assets and managing in-store animations.

1. Management of In-Store Animations:

* Detailed planning of each animation from A to Z.
* Ensure sufficient anticipation for sustainable transport.

2. Develop Retail Marketing Assets:

* Provide detailed briefs to designers for all support materials (EDG,podium,Beauty Hub,entrance table or gondola,Sephora Loves,etc.) to ensure maximum impact, high uniqueness, and an immersive customer experience.
* Inspire designer creativity with competitive benchmarks, retail trends, and inspirations.
* Lead calls for tenders with purchasing teams, ensuring strong challenges on price and quality.
* Define the strategy for local or central production for each support.
* Develop assets in close collaboration with designers and in coordination with operational marketing teams.
* Conduct quality tests and in-store tests (including for key markets).
* Ensure a strong focus on the sustainable composition and recycling of retail marketing assets after their use.

Job Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience in the beauty industry.
  • Experience in the luxury sector and/or with a distributor (a plus).
  • International experience (highly valued).
  • Fluency in French and English (required).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office,with advanced Excel and database skills.
  • Fluent English.
