Frank Sinatra’s Los Angeles Estate, Villa Dorada, Hits the Market for $7.5 Million

After 53 years, the historic Los Angeles residence once owned by Frank Sinatra has been listed for sale at $7.5 million. Known as Villa Dorada, the property offers breathtaking views stretching from the Hollywood Sign to Downtown Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean.

A Piece of Hollywood History

Located at 2200 Maravilla Drive in the Outpost Estates neighborhood of the Hollywood Hills, Villa Dorada is a 1929 Spanish Revival estate. The home was first put on the market for the first time in 53 years by RARE Properties, with John Zaffarano and Tom Davila as the listing agents.1

The 7,400-square-foot property features six bedrooms and seven bathrooms and sits on a 0.3-acre lot.1 Architect Adolph Semrow designed the estate, which has been meticulously preserved.

Villa Dorada has a rich history, having hosted numerous legendary figures from Hollywood’s Golden Age. Bela Lugosi, known for his role as Dracula, previously resided at the estate. Later, Oscar-winning songwriter Jimmy Van Heusen shared the home with his close friend, Frank Sinatra.12

Original Features and Modern Comforts

The home retains many of its original details, including hand-carved wooden doors, an original intercom system, pristine Magnesite floors in Art Deco patterns, original fireplaces, ornate chandeliers, and a wood-paneled elevator.23

Villa Dorada offers multiple terraces for indoor-outdoor living, a spacious three-car garage, and mature landscaping.1 The property is located on a cul-de-sac and the neighborhood is zoned to prevent tour buses from passing through.1

Recent Sales of Sinatra-Related Properties

This listing follows other recent sales of properties associated with Sinatra. Earlier in 2026, a modernist estate in the San Fernando Valley that Sinatra had rented sold for $8 million. In May 2025, a home in Rancho Mirage that belonged to Sinatra’s fourth wife, Barbara Sinatra, was sold for $2.25 million.4
