URBANA, Illinois – January 15, 2024 – Frasca International, Inc., a FlightSafety International company, today announced a important contract with Global Medical Response (GMR) to provide four cutting-edge Level 7 Flight Training Devices (FTDs). The new devices will include models of the Airbus EC135 helicopter,the Pilatus PC-12 aircraft,and both the beechcraft C90 and B200 airplanes.
Each FTD will be equipped with Frasca’s proprietary motion system, designed to deliver an unparalleled level of realism for pilot training simulations. These advanced training tools are destined for installation at GMR’s new, state-of-the-art training centre currently under development in Denton, Texas.
this contract builds upon a nearly two-decade relationship between Frasca and GMR. Frasca initially began supporting GMR’s pilot training initiatives in 2005 with the delivery of its first simulator to Air Evac Lifeteam,a GMR Group company. The continued partnership underscores Frasca’s commitment to providing high-fidelity training solutions for critical medical transport operations.
