Spring Reflections Concert to Feature New England Conservatory Musicians in Sudbury

The Friends of the Goodnow Library will present a free concert, “Spring Reflections: An Afternoon with Bach, Ravel, and Schumann,” on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 3 p.m. At the First Parish Church, located at 327 Concord Road in Sudbury, Massachusetts.

Performers

The concert will showcase the talents of four musicians from the New England Conservatory of Music:

  • Dylan Cohen (viola)
  • Sofia Skoldberg (violin)
  • Eric Schindler (cello)
  • August Baik (piano)

These young musicians have received standing ovations for their performances.

Program

The performance will include pieces by Johann Sebastian Bach, Maurice Ravel, and Robert Schumann.

Logistics

Seating is first arrive, first served. Free parking is available at the First Parish Church and across the street behind Sudbury Town Hall. In the event of inclement weather, updates will be posted at friendsofgoodnow.org.

Program Funding

This concert is part of the Sunday Afternoons Cultural Program series and is funded by a bequest from Stella and Frank Ricciardi to the Friends of the Goodnow Library. The spring concert was added due to audience requests and the popularity of the winter concert.

About the Musicians

Eric Schindler, 21, from Seattle, Washington, is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in cello performance with Laurence Lesser at the New England Conservatory in Boston, Massachusetts. August Baik, 20, also from Seattle, Washington, studies piano and composition with Stephen Drury at the New England Conservatory. He has performed as a soloist with several orchestras and in venues including NEC’s Jordan Hall and Benaroya Hall.
