Additionally, users flooded Google listings with nearly 700 reviews concerning the mental health facilities.
Google Listings Disabled and Security Ramped Up
EPSM management reported that administrators flagged the reviews with Google, resulting in the removal of several comments, while the Google listing for the Henri-Ey Hospital was temporarily disabled. The facility also reinforced its on-site security. Meanwhile, the CHU de Reims increased security patrols at its main campus to maintain site safety.
The digital backlash followed a series of video posts by Maya BF to her nearly one million followers. In the initial footage, recorded from what she stated was a hospital bed, she appeared restrained and called out for nursing staff to assist her to the restroom without receiving a response. Subsequent uploads on Snapchat and TikTok featured accusations directed at her parents, whom she alleged had orchestrated a forced psychiatric commitment to place her under guardianship and access her financial assets.
Unverified Claims and In-Person Visits
