Band Aid to Perform in Galatone This Evening

Band Aid will headline a highly anticipated concert tonight, Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 8:30 pm at the Teatro comunale in Galatone (Le). Admission is free.

the concert promises an immersive modern jazz experience. Expect a musical journey featuring original compositions that blend jazz with funk-rock and customary Salento music, creating a unique and powerful fusion that has earned critical acclaim.

The Agorà Italia association conceived the project, and professional journalist Arcangelo De Luca curated it. The Municipality of Galatone, Mayor Flavio Filoni, and culture Councilor francesco Danieli are all patrons of the event.

The Jazz-Fusion group, Band Aid, has been a fixture in Lecce as 1980 and will be at the heart of the performance. They’re one of the longest-running and most respected groups in the Apulian music scene. Members Frank Nemola, Roberto Gagliardi, giovanni Chirico, Mino Toriano, Felice De Donno, and Max Ingrosso have extensive national experience in jazz and rock.

Notably, trumpeter Frank Nemola has been a regular musician with Vasco Rossi since 1996, both in the studio and on tour.
