Bloomberg Technoz, Jakarta – Speculation regarding the engine and the flagship features of Samsung Electronics Co.’s latest smartphone, the Galaxy S26, leads to improvements in artificial intelligence (artificial intelligence/AI).
The device, which will be released on February 25 2026, is divided into two series, S26 and S26+, supported by the Exynos 2600 SoC chip. Meanwhile, the most premium series, S26 Ultra, carries Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, as reported by German media, Winfuture.deWednesday (11/2/2026).
What about the camera features on the S26? The base, plus, or ultra series models have similar capabilities on the front or selfie lens, 12MP aperture f/2.2.
Another thing is the capability of the lens behind the screen or main camera. The Galaxy S26 and S26+ have a 50MP camera with f/1.8 aperture, equipped with a 1/1.56 type sensor. There is also a 10MP camera, 3x optical zoom, f/2.4 aperture and 1/3.94″ type sensor. One more lens. 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide without autofocus.
For the S26 Ultra, the most premium segment is equipped with a 200MP main camera with f/1.4 aperture with a 3x 10MP optical zoom lens. The telephoto has an embedded 5x 50MP optical zoom periscope with f/2.8 aperture. Lastly, the S26 Ultra 50MP ultrawide camera with f/1.9 aperture.
