The public dispute after the accusations launched on TV: the “gay lobby” and the investigation into Boccia
It doesn’t fit Siegfried Ranucci, host of Report, to take on the accusations of having provided bad information on the part of Massimo Giletti, moves on Monday evening in the program Lo stato delle cose, on RaiTre. And so the now public argument between the two hosts escalates.
The journalist reconstructed the messages between Ranucci and Maria Rosaria Bocciaformer collaborator of the then Minister of Culture, Gennaro Sangiuliano, which preceded the publication by Report of the phone call between Sangiuliano and his wife, sanctioned by the Privacy Guarantor (a ruling later annulled by the Court).
In that chat, which The newspaper Of Tommaso Cerno he published, Ranucci brought Giletti into play. According to the host of Report, as a friend of Marco Manciniformer 007, who became known for the photo of his meeting with the former prime minister Matteo Renzi in a truck stop, taken by a teacher. While, according to the reconstruction shown by Giletti, as part of “a gay ring”, a lobby which would include Mancini, Cerno and, according to Boccia, also the journalist Alfonso Signorini and a certain “Mr. B”.
Giletti, the other evening, rejected the accusation of being part of one lobby gaybecause “the lobby means power and I have always opposed power”, while he made no reference to the friendship attributed to him with Mancini. «You’re not the oneonly right in the world, as I am not – he told Ranucci -. But dividing us right now is not right. For me it’s one human disappointment».
And here comes Ranucci’s reply on social media, reiterating how the accusation he made against Giletti (and Cerno) was not that of being part of a gay lobby, but the “more serious” one of being a friend of “007 involved in the Abu Omar kidnapping and in the illicit dossier of Telecom-Pirelli security”.
According to the gReport journalistGiletti in showing the chat, demonstrated that the one published by The newspaper would have been manipulated, removing Mancini’s name. Both Giletti and Cerno would have “passed the veils” of 007. Giletti would have done so by supporting “the conspiracy theory of the services and the State secret denied with final ruling by the Prosecutor’s Office and by Court of Romewho proved Report right.” And again: «Giletti – writes Ranucci – passed off as ainvestigation his, the papers of Mancini’s lawyers.” Proof of this would be that, by telling some events, he would have committed «the same ones lawyers’ errors».
Ranucci says he is sorry to have «Giletti was humanly disappointed“, adding that it also happened to him when Giletti “tried to reveal our source, trying to delegitimize it”. The reference is to the teacher who had taken the photos images of Renzi and Mancini at the motorway service station, of which Giletti revealed the city of residence. The host of Report explains that the reference to Cerno’s sexual orientation was inspired by a post published on social media by the director of Il Giornale which read: «Every time I see Mrs. Boccia on TV I thank God for being fr…». And he glosses: «A condensation of vulgarity and misogyny».
