Baltic Gas Prices: Riga Leads in Gasoline Costs, Vilnius in Diesel – March 2026 Update
As of the end of the working week on March 7, 2026, gasoline prices were highest in Riga, Latvia, followed by Tallinn, Estonia, and Vilnius, Lithuania. Conversely, diesel fuel was most expensive in Vilnius, Lithuania, with Tallinn, Estonia, taking second place, while Riga offered the lowest diesel prices among the three Baltic capitals.
Gasoline Price Overview (March 7, 2026)
At the “Circle K” gas station on Krasta Street in Riga, 95-brand gasoline reached 1.634 euros per liter, a 5.1% increase for the week. In Vilnius, at the “Circle K” station on Savanorju prospect, 95-grade gasoline cost 1.614 euros per liter, up 1.9% from the previous week. Tallinn’s “Circle K” stations reported 95% gasoline at 1.629 euros per liter, a substantial 10.5% increase during the same period.
Diesel Price Overview (March 7, 2026)
Diesel fuel prices likewise saw increases across the region. In Riga, diesel fuel at the “Circle K” station on Krasta Street rose by 9% to 1.694 euros per liter on Friday. Vilnius experienced a 6.9% increase, bringing the price to 1.854 euros per liter at the “Circle K” station on Savanorju prospect. Tallinn saw the most significant jump, with diesel prices increasing by 25.2% to 1.739 euros per liter at “Circle K” filling stations.
Autogas Prices (March 7, 2026)
The price of autogas remained stable in Riga at 0.935 euros per liter. However, Vilnius saw a 10.7% increase to 0.829 euros, while Tallinn experienced a slight rise of 0.3% to 0.898 euros per liter.
