Georgia Tech Volleyball to Host Oklahoma in 2026 ACC/SEC Challenge

Georgia Tech volleyball is set to host Oklahoma on September 8, 2026, as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge, marking the first meeting between the two programs since 2021 and only the fourth in program history. The announcement was made by ESPN on Thursday morning, April 23, 2026.

The Yellow Jackets enter the matchup coming off a sixth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance in 2025, finishing the season with a 16-14 overall record and an 11-9 ACC record. Georgia Tech holds the most recent win in the all-time series against Oklahoma, having secured a 3-1 victory in their first meeting on The Flats.

Returning players Bianca Garibladi and Heloise Soares earned postseason honors in 2025, with Garibladi receiving AVCA All-Region and CSC All-District recognition and being named Second Team All-ACC. Anna Fiedorowicz earned her first ACC honor by being selected to the ACC All-Freshman Team. The returning core also includes Larissa Mendes, Laura Bieleski, Abi Li, Gabi Robinska, and Danielle Tansey.

Full details regarding the ACC/SEC Challenge, including game time and broadcast information, will be announced later in the year. Georgia Tech’s complete 2026 volleyball schedule is also scheduled for release at a later date.

Fans interested in attending the matchup can renew season tickets through the Georgia Tech Ticket Office online at www.ramblinwreck.com/myaccount or by calling 888.TECH.TIX. The renewal deadline is July 15, 2026, with office hours Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. To 5 p.m.

This contest is part of Georgia Tech’s broader Full Steam Ahead initiative, a $500 million fundraising effort aimed at elevating the athletics program to championship contention in the next era of intercollegiate sports.
