GLENNS FERRY, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Glenns Ferry School District has announced that it is cancelling classes on Tuesday.

The school district said that the closure is due to a “high volume of illness among students, staff and substitutes.” Schools will also be on a two-hour delay on Wednesday.

“We hope this break will allow everyone time to rest and recover, and to help curb the spread of sickness within our community,” the school district said in its announcement.

The school district reminded students that their school bus pick-up time will be two hours later than normal on Wednesday due to the delay.
