Amazon Prime Video’s live-action drama series [갓 오브 워]has confirmed the casting for the role of Atreus. Callum Vinson was selected to play the young god Atreus, and he will work with actor Ryan Hurst, who plays Kratos, as father and son.
Additional cast members include Max Parker as Hymdall, Olafur Dari Olafsson as Thor, Mandy Patinkin as Odin, and Alastor Duncan as Mimir. Additionally, Danny Woodburn and Jeff Gulka were cast as brothers Brock and Sindri.
As previously reported, the series recently released two [갓 오브 워] The story unfolds based on the game. Kratos is forced to fight against the gods of Norse mythology while also raising his ten-year-old son, Atreus.
According to the official logline:
“Father and son, Kratos and Atreus, set out on a journey to spread the ashes of their wife and mother, Faye. Along the way, Kratos tries to teach his son how to be a better ‘god,’ and Atreus tries to teach his father how to be a better ‘man.’”
Atreus is described as “the ten-year-old son of Kratos, who grew up in a cabin in the woods isolated from the world, and was raised almost entirely by his mother, Fay. He has excellent archery skills, the ability to communicate with animals, and a strong curiosity about the world beyond the forest. After his mother’s death, he ends up with his cold and distant father, whom he barely knew, but Atreus longs for his father’s approval and wants to prove that he is strong enough to survive in a harsh and dangerous world.”
