With four Grands Prix remaining in the year, 20-year-old Mercedes pilot Kimi Antonelli has secured his status as Formula 1’s youngest-ever title holder. Antonelli is also the first Italian to win the title since Alberto Ascari in 1953. Following Sunday’s Mexico City Grand Prix, he built an insurmountable advantage in the points race ahead of teammate George Russell and Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton. Antonelli finished third in the race, which was won by Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. Sebastian Vettel was the previous youngest champion at age 23 in 2010.

Securing the regular season’s second seed, the Valkyries mounted an extraordinary playoff surge, defeating the Atlanta Dream 68-63 in San Francisco to capture the first-ever Game 7 in the history of the WNBA Finals in breathtaking fashion.
