Golf Spring Season Opener Canceled

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia University’s golf team will adjust its spring schedule following the cancellation of the Battle at Briar’s Creek tournament in Johns Island,South Carolina. The tournament, originally slated for February 2-3, was called off due to anticipated severe weather conditions.

The Mountaineers, currently holding a No. 31 ranking in the Clippd spring Scoreboard, will now begin their spring season at the Gators Invitational. This event will take place February 14-15 in Gainesville, Florida.

The team will continue preparations for the Gators Invitational, focusing on maintaining their competitive edge despite the schedule change. Further updates regarding the spring season will be released as they become available.
