Greater Victoria Business Awards 2026 Finalists Announced

The Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce has revealed the finalists for its 2026 Greater Victoria Business Awards, recognizing companies and individuals demonstrating resilience and innovation in the face of ongoing economic challenges.

Recognizing Business Excellence

This year’s finalists represent a diverse range of businesses and community leaders across Greater Victoria, with achievements acknowledged in areas such as customer service, entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation. The awards program encompasses 12 categories, celebrating businesses of all sizes, non-profits, and community contributors. An independent panel of judges from the Greater Victoria business sector selected the finalists.

CEO Commentary

“The nominees this year continue to set the standard for resilience and innovation, adapting to new economic realities and championing growth in Greater Victoria,” stated John Wilson, CEO of the Chamber, in a press release. “Every business has faced unique challenges, and these finalists have shown creativity and commitment, helping our region thrive in changing times.”

  • Business of the Year (40+ employees): Red Barn Market, The Parkside Hotel & Spa
  • Business Person of the Year: Julia Huggett (Beehive Wool Shop), Trina White (The Parkside Hotel & Spa)
  • Emerging Business Person of the Year: Kathryn Pascuzzo (Swank Creative Inc.), Rebecca Knezacek (Eyefinery Optical Studio)
  • Community Builder of the Year: Blenkinsop Community Agricultural Centre, Pacifica Housing
  • Non-Profit of the Year: Victoria Cool Aid Society, Victoria Rainbow Kitchen Society
  • Innovation Award: Canadian Tire Hillside Centre, Mushroom Envy
  • New Business of the Year: DermaLight Clinic, Solve Energy Inc.
  • Outstanding Customer Service: Delta Hotels by Marriott Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort, Ooh La La Cupcakes + Cakes
  • Outstanding Workplace of the Year: Island Savings, Kinetic Construction

Awards Ceremony Details

Tickets for the awards ceremony, scheduled for June 11th, will become available in the coming weeks. The Chamber will also announce the recipient of the Award of Distinction at the event.
