Harbour BioMed and Lannacheng Partner to Develop New Cancer Treatments

CAMBRIDGE, mass., ROTTERDAM, Netherlands and SHANGHAI, Dec. 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Harbour BioMed (HKEX: 02142), a global biopharmaceutical company focused on creating new antibody treatments for immunology and oncology, announced a long-term partnership with Yantai Lannacheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd.(“Lannacheng”). together,they will use their resources to develop next-generation radionuclide drug conjugates (RDCs).

RDCs are a new type of cancer treatment.Unlike traditional radiation therapy, RDCs use antibodies to deliver radiation directly to tumors, reducing harm to healthy tissue. Compared to antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), the radiation in RDCs can kill cancer cells even if they don’t have the specific target the antibody aims for. This could help overcome challenges with tumors that are diverse or resistant to drugs. The technology also has the potential to combine diagnosis and treatment into one.

Harbour BioMed has strong technology for discovering and developing antibodies.Their Harbour Mice^® platform creates fully human antibodies, meaning they don’t need extra engineering.
