According to the police, it is the same parking garage where three people fell from the roof and died last year.
One person died on Thursday evening in Helsinki’s Jätkäsaari as a result of a fall, says the Helsinki police. No crime is suspected in the case and the investigation will continue as a cause of death investigation, the police command center says.
The police received an alert about a rescue mission in Jätkäsaari’s Bahamankatu on Thursday evening at 10:06 p.m.
According to the police’s understanding, it is the same parking garage from which a total of three people fell from the roof last year and died.
In July last year two 15-year-old girls fell from the roof of a six-story parking garage and died. Also in November, one person died after falling from the roof of that building.
