Hezbollah Escalates Conflict, Firing Rockets Towards Tel Aviv as Iran-US Tensions Rise

TEL AVIV – The conflict stemming from the ongoing war between Iran and the United States (US) and Israel is intensifying with the direct involvement of Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon. Context: US-Israel Attack on Iran and Hezbollah’s Position

This has rekindled military and political action between Lebanon and Israel, with Hezbollah again taking a central role while facing what is described as the most existential crisis in its history Al Jazeera.

Hezbollah, founded by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards in 1982, launched rockets and drones into neighbouring Israel on Monday to avenge the killing Reuters.

Prior to this recent surge in violence, the Lebanon-Israel front had been relatively quiet since the November 2024 ceasefire, although Israel continued to violate the ceasefire daily, bombing targets and occupying Lebanese land Al Jazeera.

Broader Regional Impact
