The Highguard website became inaccessible, sparking discussion within the gaming community. Wildlight Entertainment acknowledged the issue, stating the site is “undergoing simplification and improvement” as reported by Instant Gaming. The company clarified that the website is not currently a priority, as their focus remains on delivering updates and new content for players.
Future Roadmap and Funding
Wildlight Entertainment is currently evaluating its roadmap for future updates, prioritizing player feedback to enhance game quality. While specific details are still under discussion, the developer indicated that some planned content “will likely be released sooner” according to a report from Instant Gaming. The 5v5 fashion mode has already been permanently implemented in Highguard.
Game development is reportedly fully funded by Tencent as noted by Instant Gaming.

It was recently reported that Wildlight Entertainment has laid off most of its staff according to Instant Gaming. Despite this, a developer confirmed via Discord, as shared by Rebs Gaming on X (@Mr_Rebs_) and MSN, that the game is still in development.
