Murder-Suicide Leaves Two Dead in Northwest Houston

HOUSTON – Two men were found shot to death in an apparent murder-suicide in northwest Houston Saturday night, according to the Houston Police Department.

The incident occurred around 9 p.m. on Peavine Circle near Sonneville Drive.

Lieutenant Khan with HPD stated that officers arrived to find two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. They promptly began providing aid, but Houston Fire Department personnel pronounced both victims dead at the scene.

preliminary investigations suggest the shooting followed a heated argument between the two men. Lt. Khan indicated that one man produced a firearm, shot the other, and then apparently took his own life.

HPD believes the victims were a father-in-law and his son-in-law.

Homicide detectives are continuing to investigate. Authorities are asking anyone with facts to contact the Houston Police Department.
