Boston Celtics Defeat Chicago Bulls 134-99 Behind Pritchard and Tatum
Hugo González recorded 13 points, five rebounds, two assists, and one block in 24 minutes of play during the Boston Celtics’ 134-99 victory over the Chicago Bulls, Marca reported. The Spanish forward shot 3-for-3 on two-pointers, 1-for-3 from beyond the arc, and 5-for-6 from the free-throw line off the bench at TD Garden.
Mazzulla Praises Bench Contributions After Blowout Win
Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla highlighted the impact of his reserve players following the lopsided victory over Chicago.
González also addressed the depth of the roster after the final buzzer sounded.
Top Performers for Boston and Chicago
Payton Pritchard led the scoring charge for the Celtics with 28 points, sinking seven of his ten three-point attempts. Jayson Tatum added 23 points to secure a dominant offensive showing for Boston.
On the opposing side, Norman Powell proved the most productive player for the Chicago Bulls, finishing the night with 20 points. Despite Powell’s efforts, Chicago failed to keep pace as Boston capitalized on deep three-point shooting and extensive bench minutes.
