Hyundai Tucson Receives Trim Level Updates for 2026 Model Year

Hyundai has announced a revised range structure for its popular Tucson SUV, aiming to maintain its appeal in a competitive market while a fresh generation of the model is on the horizon. The Tucson competes with key rivals such as the Kia Sportage and Volkswagen Tiguan.

Trim Level Changes

The updates focus primarily on trim levels, with no mechanical changes to the powertrain options. Petrol, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid versions will continue to be available, along with choices of manual and automatic transmissions and front or all-wheel drive.

The former Advance and Premium trims have been replaced with new Element and Black Line models. The N-Line trim is now known as N-Line Edition. The N-Line S and Ultimate trims remain at the top of the range.

New Trim Details

• Element: This entry-level trim matches the features of the previous Advance trim, including dual-zone climate control, wireless phone charging, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto compatibility on a 12.3-inch touchscreen, 17-inch alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, and a rear-view camera. Prices start at £30,935 for the petrol version with a six-speed manual transmission and a 148bhp turbocharged 1.6-litre engine. The hybrid powertrain in the Element trim starts at £34,860.
• Black Line: This trim offers enhanced equipment, adding 19-inch alloy wheels, black door mirrors, black window surrounds, rear privacy glass, LED rear lights, a second 12.3-inch display for the driver, cloth and leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel.
• N-Line Edition: A sportier option featuring more aggressive bumpers with body-colored wheel arches. Inside, it includes unique fabric upholstery, a premium audio system, three-zone climate control, heated rear seats, a powered tailgate, a head-up display, matrix LED headlights, and remote folding rear seats.
• N-Line S & Ultimate: These range-topping trims retain their existing features and add luxuries such as leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, and electric seats.

Powertrain Availability

The Element and Black Line models are initially available with petrol and hybrid powertrains. Plug-in hybrid versions will be available to order starting in April 2026.

Pricing

Pricing for the updated Tucson range begins at £30,935 for the entry-level Element model. Prices are slightly higher than their predecessors.
