Infinix Note 60 Ultra: A Pininfarina-Designed Flagship Debuts
Infinix has launched the Note 60 Ultra smartphone, a collaboration with Italian design house Pininfarina. Unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in Barcelona, the Note 60 Ultra aims to be a flagship-tier device, blending automotive-inspired design with premium features.
Pininfarina’s Automotive Influence
Pininfarina, renowned for its work with automotive brands like Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Peugeot, and Fiat, brought its design expertise to the Note 60 Ultra.1 The collaboration focused on creating a smartphone that evokes the feel of high-speed automotive design. A key design element is the elimination of the protruding camera bump, replaced by a uni-chassis cam module with a single sheet of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. This design aims for an aerodynamic look, improved hand feel, and increased durability.1
Further automotive cues include a red “tail light” that illuminates when the phone is powered on, and a small active matrix display next to the camera, reminiscent of modern car dashboards. This display functions similarly to the glyphs found on some Nothing phones, providing message notifications and displaying icons.1
