INPS Single Certification 2026: How to Download and What You Need to Know
The INPS (National Social Security Institute) Single Certification, or Certificazione Unica (CU), provides a comprehensive summary of all income paid by the Institute to Italian citizens during the previous year. This document is essential for filing your annual tax return. For the 2026 tax year, the INPS will make the CU available starting March 16th, allowing individuals to access and download it online through various channels.
Who Receives the INPS Single Certification 2026?
The CU is issued to individuals who received any form of income from INPS throughout 2025, including:
- Pensions
- Welfare benefits, such as the inclusion allowance
- Support measures like the single allowance
- Income from employment and similar work
- Self-employment income
- Commissions and other income
If you received multiple benefits from INPS, a single CU will consolidate all income information.

INPS is required to transmit the tax and social security data contained in the CU to the Revenue Agency and to interested parties by March 16, 2026. This is the official date when the document will become available for download.
