International Judo Action: Bremen Masters and Thuringia Cup Set for Livestream Coverage
This weekend marks a significant event for young judoka as the International Bremen Masters and the International Thuringia Cup take center stage. Both tournaments will be livestreamed on the German Judo Federation (DJB) YouTube channel, offering fans worldwide the opportunity to witness high-level competition.
International Bremen Masters
The 40th International Bremen Masters will be held on March 21st and 22nd, 2026. The event will feature men’s U18 competition on Saturday, March 21st, and men’s U21 competition on Sunday, March 22nd. Approximately 800 judoka from around 30 nations are expected to participate. Initiated by Norbert Specker, the Bremen Masters is recognized as a premier event for male youth judo, hosting competitions across eight mats.

International Thuringia Cup
Running concurrently, the 32nd International Thuringia Cup in Bad Blankenburg is exclusively for female judoka in the U18 and U21 age categories. This tournament has become a crucial platform for developing international young talent, attracting around 450 athletes, including teams from Brazil, and Canada. Competition will take place on six mats, including an information channel.
