Iran has issued a direct warning to countries worldwide against providing support for US aggression amid escalating hostilities, stating that any nation aiding US operations will become a legitimate target for retaliation, according to statements from Iranian officials and military spokesmen.

The warning follows a surge in tit-for-tat strikes between the US and Iran over a two-week period following the collapse of a tentative ceasefire. The renewed conflict has heavily disrupted maritime traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, where multiple merchant ships have sustained damage.

Military and Parliamentary Warnings from Tehran

Brigadier General Hossein Mohebbi, a spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), stated on Saturday that nations facilitating US military actions expose themselves to direct attack. “Any country – whether Britain, the Persian Gulf states, or others – if they support the US in the war, they will become our legitimate targets,” Mohebbi said, specifically noting that US B-1 bombers have utilized airbases in Britain for strategic operations.

Echoing that stance, Ali Nikzad, the deputy speaker of Iran’s parliament, warned European governments and other international actors against participating in the conflict. Speaking at a parliamentary session, Nikzad cautioned governments including the United Kingdom and Ukraine “not to make themselves pawns of the United States and to refrain from engaging in adventures that do not concern them,” adding that any nation serving as a source of aggression will face Iranian military retaliation.

Incidents in the Caspian Sea and International Reactions

Tensions between Kiev and Tehran escalated after an incident in the Caspian Sea where an attack on an Iranian merchant ship resulted in one death and one injury. According to Ukrainian officials, Kiev carried out the strike targeting vessels allegedly involved in military cargo shipments. The Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned the attack as reckless, stating that it risks widening the scope of the regional conflict.

The United Kingdom has served as a key hub for the US-Israeli war against Iran, serving as the staging point for US strategic strikes, though previous disagreements between London and Washington arose over the extent of operational access granted to strategic bomber bases.
