Flowers Laid at Moscow Embassy in Remembrance of Iran’s Supreme Leader

Residents gathered outside the Iranian Embassy in Moscow to lay flowers and pay their respects at a makeshift memorial for Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, according to reports from multiple news outlets.

Images circulating online show portraits of Khamenei, along with floral tributes and Iranian flags, placed near the embassy entrance. Police were present at the scene as mourners expressed condolences and described his death as a significant loss as reported by Yahoo News.

The gathering occurred against a backdrop of heightened tensions following recent US-Israeli strikes within Iran .

A memorial service was also led by Iran’s ambassador in Russia as seen on Instagram.
