Kuwaiti Governors Extend Ramadan Greetings

Kuwait City, February 17 (KUNA) – The Governor of Jahra, Hamad Al-Habashi, along with other Kuwaiti governors, extended heartfelt congratulations to His Highness the Emir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Prime Minister, on the occasion of the approaching month of Ramadan.

Al-Habashi emphasized that Ramadan represents a significant occasion for strengthening values of compassion, solidarity, and cohesion among the Kuwaiti people (KUNA). He prayed for the good health and well-being of His Highness the Emir and for continued security, safety, stability, and prosperity in Kuwait under the wise leadership.

The governor also called for blessings and prosperity to be bestowed upon the nation, and for the preservation of Kuwait and its people, hoping for further progress and advancement during the holy month (KUNA).

This expression of goodwill follows similar congratulatory messages extended by governors across Kuwait in December 2025, marking the second anniversary of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s assumption of power (Kuwait Times). Governors at that time lauded the Amir’s leadership and achievements during his first two years in office.

Recent activities by the Jahra Governorate also include inspection tours of key infrastructure projects, such as the Al-Artal Road project, demonstrating a commitment to quality and timely completion (Times Kuwait). Governor Al-Habashi also recently received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Kuwait, Abdullah Ibn Issa, discussing ways to strengthen bilateral relations (Arab Times).
