Japan Pop & Co. Festival to Immerse Saint-Girons in Japanese Culture
Saint-Girons, France, is set to host its first “Japan Pop & Co.” festival on February 25, 2026, at the Salle Max Linder. The event, organized by the Micro-Folie de Saint-Girons, LE&C Grand Sud, the Couserans-Pyrénées public reading network, and the local toy library, will celebrate the vibrant “pop” culture of Japan, including manga, anime, music, games, and cosplay. A Day of Japanese Entertainment
The festival will run from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with free entry. Attendees can expect a diverse range of activities catering to fans of all ages, and interests. Gazette Ariégeoise

Anime Screening: “Alice in Wonderland: Dive in Wonderland”
Following the festival, at 6:00 PM, the Salle Max Linder will screen the anime film “Alice in Wonderland: Dive in Wonderland,” released in 2025. This contemporary adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s classic tells the story of Rise, a student who finds herself transported to Wonderland and guided by Alice through a fantastical world. Morning Activities at Micro-Folie
The Micro-Folie will likewise host earlier events on February 25th:
- 10:00 AM: A guided tour titled “The Arts of Japan,” exploring the history of Japanese art and its influence on European Impressionists. Couserans Pyrénées
